CWRU Swimming & Diving Receives Scholar All-America Team Recognition

The Case Western Reserve University men’s and women’s swimming and diving team teams were each selected as Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic performance during the 2018 Spring semester.
The Spartan men finished the spring semester with a team grade point average of 3.44. The CWRU women recorded a 3.34 grade point average during the semester, en route to earning the honor.
To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have a grade point average of 3.00 or higher over the spring semester. 710 swimming and diving teams, representing 476 colleges and universities across all three NCAA Divisions, the NAIA, and the NJCAA, were recognized.
The CWRU women finished 34th at the 2018 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, and went 10-2 in dual meets during the campaign, while the Spartan men went 8-2 for the season. CWRU swimmers and divers combined to set eight program records during the 2017-18 season.
