Isabel Mendoza recently was awarded Rocky Mountain URISA 2017 Scholarship for $500 for her recent Capstone project – “Snow Cover Area Change in the Volcano ‘El Altar’ in Ecuador using Landsat images”. Her project will be cited in the RM-URISA website.
Rocky Mountain URISA is a regional chapter of the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) International, providing a cooperative environment of geospatial professionals, users, and students to communicate and advance the status and level of effectiveness of GIS use in the Rocky Mountain region.
