FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Eric Dreggors of Barling, who graduated in May with a Master of Music in music composition, has earned an internship with Discover Management, an entertainment talent management company based in Los Angeles, California. Dreggors also worked as a graduate assistant for the Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center.
“We’re so proud of Eric and all that he has accomplished, both at the university and in earning this internship,” said Nicole Cotton-Leachman, director for the Faulkner Center. “His success is another shining example our students’ accomplishments here at the Faulkner Center.”
Dreggors said the production experience he gained at the Faulkner Center played a significant role in his ability to earn this internship.
“I first received information about the City Internship Program from Nicole back in early November when she was contacted by the CEO of the program, Lewis Talbot, regarding a soft opening for U of A students to explore,” Dreggors said.
“Even though it took many months for everything to get situated and prepared, I am very pleased to have this opportunity to work out in Los Angeles, and it all wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for Nicole sending that email out to everyone in the Faulkner Performing Arts Center. I will never forget what everyone has done for me, and will do my best to make this a successful opportunity for future students who want to go and explore their talents and skills in the real world.”
