Finance, Economics alumnus earns top honor at commercial real estate awards event


Walker College of Business alumnus Andrew “Moss” Withers has been named Commercial Realtor of the Year by the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors.Withers, a 2006 graduate of Appalachian State University, is a broker specializing in land, office and investment properties with NAI Carolantic, part of a global network of owner-operated commercial real estate brokerage firms.Withers earned his degree in Finance and Banking and Economics from the Walker College prior to receiving his MBA as well as a degree in entrepreneurship and commercialization from North Carolina State University.NAI Carolantic Chairman Steve Stroud presented the honor during the annual Frontier Awards.  Read the full article.”Moss has the upmost integrity when representing his clients, pays attention to detail, knows the market and is enjoyable to work with,” said Jimmy Barnes, President of NAI Carolantic Realty. “He is well deserving of all his recent awards.”Withers serves as board chair of the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce and as an advisory board member for Paragon Bank.
