Published on: December 17, 2010 Registration for spring 2011 classes is in full-swing at Lone Star College-North Harris, Greenspoint and Carver Centers.  With more than 10,000 students already registered, it seems another record-setting semester is on the horizon. LSC-North Harris has seen its student population rise 37 percent in the last two years. 
The tremendous growth at LSC-North Harris means an extremely high-demand for the many of the colleges classes. Registering as early as possible provides students with the best selection of classes and times. 
All LSC-North Harris student services offices will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 18 through Jan. 2. However, current and recently enrolled students can register online at, while anyone interested in attending can begin the admission process online at On-site registration will resume on Jan. 3.
Due to a new student services system and accompanying processes, registration or payments by telephone are no longer available. A Web page addressing all of the changes, and additional information regarding Spring 2011 registration has been created at 
Lone Star-North Harris courses are designed to fit a diverse spectrum of academic goals, and can lead to certificates, associate degrees or university transfer. Credit classes range from art, biology, and automotive technology to cosmetology, nursing and criminal justice.
