Case Western Reserve University senior Danielle Kulpins qualified for the finals of the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin on Thursday afternoon.Kulpins recorded the 12th-fastest time in the preliminaries of the event, finishing seventh in her heat with a mark of 10:55.08. The top-five finishers in each heat, along with the next four fastest times, qualified for the finals of the event.Kulpins will now compete in the final of the 3,000-meter steeplechase on Saturday, May 26th at 11:45 a.m. CT, as she will try to become the first woman in program history to earn an All-America honor in the steeplechase.
