Lone Star College-Conroe Center Students Can “Get on Board” With New Bus Routes

Published on: September 10, 2018 Conroe, TX- Starting Monday, September 10, the City of Conroes new routes to Conroe Connection Transit Service will be fully operational.

Students of Lone Star College Conroe Center and residents throughout the City of Conroe are encouraged to Get on Board with these new convenient routes that run Monday through Friday.

With the Northeast Route providing easy access from LSC Conroe Center to HEB, its sure to be a hit with students who need to run to the store after class, but dont have convenient transportation available.

Starting from the Booker T. Washington Park Transfer Point on S. 1st Street, the West Route provides service to the County Library, Tri-County Services, Social Security, Home Depot, and Conroe High School every two hours from 7am-5pm.

The Northeast Route will run every two hours from 8am-6pm, and provide service to Texas Health and Human Services, Texas Assistive and Rehabilitative Services, Lone Star College-Conroe Center, Family Protective Services, and HEB.

With over 600 riders and community members voicing their support for this project, theres no doubt about the popularity of the citys decision to expand the existing public transportation system.

Maps and schedules can also be accessed at the Chamber of Commerce, 505 W Davis Street and Montgomery County Library-Central Branch, 104 I-45N.
