Men’s Cross Country SchedulePOMONA, Calif. – After Ruben Dominguez represented Cal Poly Pomona men’s cross country with an All-American performance in 2017, the Broncos will look to return to the national stage as a team in 2018.The new season will begin on Aug. 31 with the CBU Lancer Invite in Riverside. It will be the first of four regular season meets, which include two others in California – the Coyote Challenge in San Bernardino on Sept. 22 and the Capital Cross Challenge (2017 finish line pictured above) in Sacramento on Sept. 29.CPP will travel out of state for the Festival Year Fiasco in Evansville, Ind. That meet will take place on Saturday, Oct. 20, to wrap up the regular season.The postseason begins on Saturday, Nov. 3, with the CCAA Championships to be held in San Bernardino. From there, the Broncos will prepare for the Nov. 17 West Region Championships, which will take place in Billings, Mont.Of CPP’s returners heading into the 2018 season, Jeremiah Suzara put together the top regionals performance as the No. 5 CPP finisher in that event and he looks to provide key contributions during the 2018 campaign.
