By Erik SatherNAU-TVNorthern Arizona University Taylor Lambrigger is getting hands-on research experience that’s straight out of a “Crime Scene Investigation” script.
Lambrigger has been working with Corina Kellner, an associate professor in the Department of Anthropology, to use isotope analysis to study ancient people. As part of a Hooper Undergraduate Research Award (HURA), she reached out to the Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office to see if the isotope analyses they did in the lab could provide some identifying information about the unidentified human remains in the medical examiner’s office.
Lambrigger will present her research at a reception for all HURA recipients on April 26 and again at the 10th Annual Undergraduate Symposium on April 27 at the Walkup Skydome. The symposium is open to all members of the community.
