The front nine played a little tougher as she shot 4-over 40 to finish 4-over on the day. Andrade-Guzman also posted a 4-over 40 on the back nine to begin with, but settled in on her last nine holes on the front nine. She carded two birdies and made par on five of the other seven holes to shoot even-par 36 and also finish 4-over for the day. Rounding out the scoring for FIU was sophomore Diana Velez, who shot an 8-over 80 and sits tied for 40th. Senior Katerina Krasova was two-over par 38 on the back nine where she began, but ended at nine-over (81) for her opening round. FIU will tee off in the last group of the day, paired with Southern Miss and North Texas on the 10th hole, beginning at 8:50 a.m. Live stats, through, are posted at Print Friendly Version
