The Press-Enterprise — In a preview of the collegiate spring sports season, the newspaper included mention of Cal State San Bernardino runner Laura Aceves as the Coyotes and other teams gear up for track and field.
Aceves became the first Coyote to qualify for the NCAA Division II Championships last season in the steeplechase, and followed that up with a dazzling cross country season, winning the CCAA title, the NCAA West Region title and finishing 13th at the NCAA Championships to earn All-American accolades and lower her school record to 20 minutes, 52 seconds.
