These are among the activities scheduled Aug. 7-13 at the University of Wyoming:
Tuesday, Aug. 8, 7 p.m. — Planetarium show, “This Month’s Sky.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.
Friday, Aug. 11, 8 p.m. — Planetarium show, “Pluto Re-classified.” A free STAR Observatory tour (weather dependent) follows at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.
Saturday, Aug. 12, 10 a.m. — Three new exhibitions will open at the UW Art Museum. Free.
Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum, open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
