Collegiate Times – news/
Recently, we saw a decent amount of snow with a layer of ice on top. However, everything has now started to melt during the day and freeze overnight, so continue to watch where you step, so you don’t slip.
A high pressure is moving into the area Friday, bringing high temperatures and clearer conditions. A cold front will then move in Friday night into Saturday morning, but it will be weak so temperatures will not drop again.
Friday will be sunny with highs in the upper 40s. There will be a calm southerly wind in the morning with clouds rolling in through the night. The overnight lows will only be in the lower 30s with a southwest wind.
Saturday will be in the upper 50s with a decent westerly wind and gusts up to 20 mph. Nighttime temperatures will be in the lower 40s with partly cloudy conditions.
Sunday conditions look to be partly sunny with highs in the upper 50s and an overnight low in the lower 40s.
Early next week the chance for rain and snow will return. We will be monitoring this potential system closely as we move into the weekend.
