Wolfpack Women Ranked in Two National Polls

USTFCCCA RankingsFloTrack Rankings RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State women’s track and field team is ranked 15th in the USTFCCCA National Poll and 16th in FloTrack’s national team indoor rankings. The team currently has four athletes ranked in national-qualifying position, while several have yet to make their season debut early in the season. The team set all four of its current national qualifications at the BU Opener in the 5,000m. Erika Kemp, Rachel Koon, Ryen Frazier and Alyssa Rudawsky posted fast times in the season-opener and are all ranked top-15 in the NCAA in the event. The team also has five other marks currently ranked in the top 50 of the national standings. Kaitlyn Kramer’s mile time of 4:48.92 is ranked 39th, Frazier’s 4:49.38 is 42nd and Koon’s 4:49.99 is ranked 50th. Additionally, Javonne Antoine has the nation’s 34th-best triple jump mark of 41’3.00″, while Lauren Evans is ranked 50th in the weight throw with a toss of 60’10.25″. The team will continue its season this weekend at the Bob Pollock Invitational Friday and Saturday. Last year the Wolfpack women finished 17th at the NCAA Indoor Championships, while most recently the women’s cross country team finished fourth at the 2015 NCAA Championships.  Print Friendly Version
