GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The LSU women’s basketball team (10-5, 2-2 SEC) will be working to bounce back from a tough road loss at Alabama on Thursday night with a midday matchup at Florida on Sunday, Jan. 14. Tipoff is set for Noon CT / 1 p.m. ET at Exactech Arena in Gainesville.
Sunday’s game will be televised on the SEC Network, and broadcast worldwide on the LSU Sports Radio Network. Courtney Lyle and Tamika Catchings will call the action for SECN, while Patrick Wright handles the radio duties. Links to audio, video and live stats are available at LSUsports.net.

This will be the 42nd meeting between LSU and Florida (8-9, 0-4 SEC). LSU holds a 27-14 series lead and are 12-8 when playing in Gainesville. The Gators are led by junior transfer Funda Nakkasoglu. Nakkasoglu is averaging 15.2 points per game and has made 42 three-pointers this season. Florida’s five starters are all currently averaging double figures in scoring.
LSU won last year’s game in Baton Rouge, 78-67, on Jan. 5, 2017, and has won three of the last five meetings between the two teams. Florida won the last game in Gainesville, 53-45, on Jan. 17, 2016.
LSU is currently 11-2 when every day starters Raigyne Louis, Chloe Jackson and Ayana Mitchell score 10 or more points in the same game. When Mitchell scores 10 or more points in a game, LSU is 15-5.
Jackson and Louis are currently tied for the LSU scoring lead with 16.5 points per game and have grabbed 34 and 36 steals, respectively. Mitchell leads the team with 6.5 rebounds per game, followed by Louis with 5.5 and Faustine Aifuwa with 5.1 board per outing.
