Nov. 30, in the Student Services Center, Room 2201, on the College’s Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.This program is part of the College’s free Writers Read series, which brings area
authors to COD’s campus for readings and discussions.Megan Stielstra is the author of three collections: “The Wrong Way To Save Your Life,” “Once I Was
Cool” and “Everyone Remain Calm.” Her work has appeared in the “Best American Essays,”
The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, “Poets & Writers,” “Tin House,” “Guernica,” “Catapult,”
“Lit Hub,” Buzzfeed Reader,” “PANK” and “The Rumpus.” She has told stories for National
Public Radio, Radio National Australia, Museum of Contemporary Art, Goodman Theatre,
Steppenwolf Theatre, the Neo-Futurarium, and regularly with The Paper Machete live
news magazine at The Green Mill in Chicago.For 18 years, the Writers Read series has brought dozens of nationally acclaimed writers
to College of DuPage, including Stuart Dybek, Eboo Patel, Luis Urrea, Scott Russell
Sanders and Leigh Stein. This event is sponsored by COD’s Creative Writing and Religious
